Iron Goddess Oolong | 鐵觀音烏龍
Iron Goddess Oolong | 鐵觀音烏龍
Description: The Iron Goddess got its name from the combination of its appearance and its taste; when brewed, a translucent iron like amber colour can be observed, yet its full bodied taste and mellow scent is compared to the gentleness of Chinese goddess - "GuanYin" hence the name Iron Goddess.
Our Iron Goddess Oolong, differs from usual, is roasted from the Four Seasons Oolong but processed in the Iron Goddess method thus gaining the best of both world: mellow lingering scent but packed with full bodied flavour.
Tasting Notes: Similar to our Tungting Oolong tea, the colour of the tea is a bit dark due to the roasting process. There is a stronger smoky fruit taste to the tea with a hint of sweetness finish to it
Caffeine / Mood: The caffeine level for the Iron Goddess Oolong will be on the lighter end as well, due to the unique and heavy roasting process. We recommend enjoying this tea in the afternoon or even evening for a stronger taste with less caffeine

How To Enjoy Whole Leaf Tea
Whole leaf tea is the highest quality of tea, as it is able to retain the most nutritious and delicious component of the tea, without any compromise. Though as easy as it is in the form of a tea sachet, we still need to make sure we get these things right:
- Brew at over 92°C / 197°F hot water (best with a lid over)
- Brew 1 tea bag with 300ml water (1g tea= 100ml water)
- Steep sachet constantly for an even flavour distribution
- Be patient! Brew tea for 3-5 minutes before drinking
