High Mountain Oolong | 高山烏龍
High Mountain Oolong | 高山烏龍
Description: As the name implies, this type of Oolong tea is harvested at the high mountain ranges on Li Shan, at the altitude of 1600m (one of the most prestigious regions in Taiwan known for High Mountain Oolong Tea). The production yield for this type of tea is scarce and it requires much more manual labour work to harvest / produce
Tasting Notes: Our High Mountain Oolong tea has a sophisticated forest-like aroma to it. The aftertaste is a bit stronger than our Four Seasons Oolong and this tea has a stronger earthy taste to it
Caffeine / Mood: High Mountain Oolong is usually enjoyed at any time of the day. We also recommend cold brewing the tea for a smoother taste with less caffeine, if you plan on drinking it later during the day.
Size: 12 tea bags
Origin: Li Shan, Taiwan
Roast percentage: 5% Light roast
Harvest Season: Summer
Expiration Date: Two years

How To Enjoy Whole Leaf Tea
Whole leaf tea is the highest quality of tea, as it is able to retain the most nutritious and delicious component of the tea, without any compromise. Though as easy as it is in the form of a tea sachet, we still need to make sure we get these things right:
- Brew at over 92°C / 197°F hot water (best with a lid over)
- Brew 1 tea bag with 300ml water (1g tea= 100ml water)
- Steep sachet constantly for an even flavour distribution
- Be patient! Brew tea for 3-5 minutes before drinking
