Four Seasons Oolong | 四季春
Four Seasons Oolong | 四季春
Description: This is our all-time favourite tea that we enjoy multiple times a day. This tea is known for having a distinct fresh aroma that has a subtle lingering perfume aftertaste
Tasting Notes: Four-season oolong is a lighter variation of oolong, but what makes this one of the most popular teas consumed in Taiwan is the fresh floral and herbal aroma from this tea. It almost feels like an elegant blend between traditional green tea and oolong tea, with a touch of freshness in the nasal canal
Caffeine / Mood: Caffeine for this tea will be on the lighter end, as it is semi-fermented and lightly roasted. Try it with cold-brew for much less caffeine and a smoother option. This tea is recommended to be enjoyed in the afternoon or post-dinner to balance out the grease after a meal
Size: 12 tea bags
Origin: Nantou County, Taiwan
Roast percentage: 5% Light roast
Harvest Season: Summer
Expiration Date: Two years
Elevation: 400 m
How To Enjoy Whole Leaf Tea
Whole leaf tea is the highest quality of tea, as it is able to retain the most nutritious and delicious component of the tea, without any compromise. Though as easy as it is in the form of a tea sachet, we still need to make sure we get these things right:
- Brew at over 92°C / 197°F hot water (best with a lid over)
- Brew 1 tea bag with 300ml water (1g tea= 100ml water)
- Steep sachet constantly for an even flavour distribution
- Be patient! Brew tea for 3-5 minutes before drinking
