Here are 3 simple reasons why you should be drinking tea

Tea is one of those drinks that we tend to look at as an alternative to coffee, especially when caffeine is in question. But did you know that tea is one of the healthier drinks you can have?

Seriously! And if you’re not a fan of drinking hot tea, you can always enjoy cold brewed tea or iced tea, which still have a multitude of benefits.

There are many teas out there, and it can be a little daunting knowing where to start, but the thing to keep in mind here is that it’s all about what you enjoy. Some people really enjoy green teas, while others enjoy herbal, caffeine-free teas - and that’s completely fine!

Whether you’re drinking it casually every now and then, or you’re an experienced tea connoisseur, All Day Tea Club offers an accessible approach to enjoying quality high Mountain teas from Taiwan. You really don’t have to know much or do any research for that matter, because we’ve gone ahead and done that for you. All you have to do is enjoy these wonderful teas, whenever you like - and however you like.

So with the above in mind, let’s dive into a few reasons why you should be drinking tea - as well as the benefits (listed on each of our products as well) that come along with doing so.

It tastes great

We’ll start out simple here, because we can all agree that tea tastes great. Have you ever had a nice cold iced tea on a hot summer day? Remember the feeling of that first, wondrous sip? We all do - and for that reason, we believe that tea is one of the best drinks to quench your thirst, after water (stay hydrated folks).

If you’re someone who tends to stay away from caffeinated drinks, herbal teas are a great alternative that taste amazing, however you decide to enjoy them (cold, hot, warm or anything in between). You can even go as far as mixing herbal teas in with your favourite cocktails!

Tea is easy to make

Are you planning a wild night in; all cozied up with your favourite Netflix show? Make it cozier with a cup of tea! All you have to do is place a teabag in a cup of hot water for a few minutes and you’re good to go. Easy right?

If you’re not feeling like getting up and doing that or you prefer a colder beverage, you can plan ahead by cold brewing a larger batch of tea, which you can enjoy over the period of a few days, whenever you want.

What we’re trying to get at here is how easy it is to enjoy tea. We also firmly believe that tea becomes much more enjoyable with some company. Have some people over if you’re up for it, and have some tea together. Trust us - tea time is never a bad idea.

P.S. You can thank us later after you’ve had all those great conversations!

Most teas have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties

We briefly mentioned how healthy tea is, but let’s get to the bottom of this (you can share this with your friends too). The main substances in tea that are known to provide health benefits are polyphenols, which are molecules that contain anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties - ultimately lowering the risk for heart disease, cancer, and diabetes.

“Harvard-led studies of large groups of people over time have found that tea or coffee drinkers are at lower risk for diabetes and possibly cardiovascular disease”

Beyond everything mentioned above, it’s a good feeling knowing that you can enjoy a great tasting drink that has lasting health benefits (some more than others, especially if you don’t add sugar).

It goes without saying that there are so many more reasons to drink tea, but we want to keep this simple and approachable, especially for those who are just getting into tea drinking.

So if you’re someone who has recently started drinking tea, or simply enjoyed some of All Day Tea Club’s teas, let us know! We’d love to hear your experience!

Much love.
